Dr. Md. Abu Hanif is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He completed his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry (2012) and M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (2013, Inorganic Branch) from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He received his second M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from the department of Bioactive Material Sciences, Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea, 2018 and 2021, respectively. Then, Dr. Hanif worked as an Associate Researcher (Postdoc, August 2021 – July 2022) and Research Professor (August 2022 – July 2024) at the Institute of Carbon Technology, Jeonju University, Republic of Korea. In addition, Dr. Hanifserved as a Lecturer at the Department of International Engineering and Science, Jeonbuk National Univrsity, Republic of Korea (September 2023 – October 2024).

Dr. Hanif’s research interests mainly Synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of novel nanomaterial’s, and nanocomposite materials, Photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, Wastewater treatment and toxicity assessment, Photocatalytic overall water splitting, Electrochemical overall water splitting, HER, OER, Catalyst development for the hydrogen fuel cell.
