M. Jewel Rana completed his MSc (Thesis) in Applied Mathematics and BSc (Honours) in Mathematics from Science, Engineering & Technology School, Khulna University, Khulna-9208, Bangladesh. Having completed his post-graduation, he started teaching in 2019 as a Lecturer in Mathematics at Gono Bishwabidyalay, Savar, Dhaka. He is proud to call Narail his hometown.

He is now working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, IUBAT, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined IUBAT on 24th September 2023 as a Senior Lecturer of Mathematics.

Mr Rana has a good number of publications in international journals having good Impact Factors.  His research interests include Hybrid nanomaterials, Microorganisims, Bioconvection, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Entropy Optimization, MHD, Numerical Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis etc. Besides academics, He loves to visit places and listen to music.
