Sinthia Sobnom

This is Sinthia Sobnom. She is proud to call Sirajganj her hometown. Her academic journey began with the completion of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from S.I. Govt Girls High School,Sirajganj, in 2010 where she excelled with a GPA of 5. Continuing her academic pursuits, she went on to complete Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Sirajganj Govt College in 2012, maintaining the same impressive GPA of 5.

Driven by a passion for mathematics, she pursued her undergraduate studies in the Department of Mathematics at Jahangirnagar University, where she graduated in 2018 with CGPA 3.72 out of 4, securing the 2nd merit position. Subsequently  she completed her post-graduation from the same esteemed department at Jahangirnagar University in 2019 with GPA 3.89 out of 4 where she secured the 5th merit position.

During her post-graduation, she completed  her MS thesis  entitled "Numerical Solution of Fluid Dynamic Traffic Flow Model based on a Logarithmic Speed-Density Function" under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Laek Sazzad Andallah and she was honored with the prestigious NST fellowship for her contribution to the field.

Eager to share her knowledge and passion for mathematics, she began her professional career as a lecturer at BUFT, where she dedicated herself to fostering a stimulating learning environment for her students. After a year of enriching experiences at BUFT, she expanded her horizons by accepting positions as a lecturer in mathematics at both Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology as well as Southeast University where she continued to make meaningful contributions to the academic community.

On February 7, 2024, she embarked on a new chapter in her career journey as a lecturer in Mathematics at IUBAT.
